How a delivery works

• You tell me what is being sent, where to collect it and where it goes. I confirm the price and time by message.
• At pickup you tell me what is inside. I may ask to see the contents. If you refuse, I will not take the package.
• I deliver it directly, handing it to the recipient or at the agreed place. I confirm the delivery to you by message.
• You pay at the normal tariff for the distance and time, unless we agreed another price before pickup.

What I do not carry

I refuse, and may report to the authorities, any package that contains or may contain:

• Drugs, narcotics or any other illegal substances
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives and fireworks
• Stolen or counterfeit goods
• Dangerous, flammable or toxic goods
• Large amounts of cash, or other valuables I have not agreed to in advance
• Live animals
• Anything I cannot see or you will not describe

By handing me a package, you confirm that you are the sender or authorised by the sender, that the contents are legal, and that you described them correctly. You are responsible for any damage, fine or claim caused by false information.

Packaging

Pack the item so it survives a normal car journey. I am not liable for damage caused by poor packaging or by the fragile nature of the contents.

Delivery times

Same-day delivery is my aim and depends on the time of booking, distance, traffic and border crossings. A delivery time is only guaranteed if I confirm it by message.

If the recipient is not there

I will try to reach the recipient and you. If delivery is not possible, I will agree the next step with you. Extra waiting time and extra trips are charged at the tariff.

Liability

For deliveries within the Netherlands I work under the Dutch General Transport Conditions (AVC 2002). For deliveries to Belgium or Germany, the CMR Convention applies. Both limit my liability for loss of or damage to a package to a set amount per kilogram.

I am not liable for indirect loss, such as lost income or missed events. Valuable items should be declared and agreed in advance, and insured by you if the value is high.

Complaints

Check the package at delivery. Report visible damage immediately and any other problem within 7 days, by message or email.

Applicable law

Dutch law applies. Mandatory consumer rights in your country are not affected. Your personal data is handled as described in the privacy statement.
